Real Questions, Real Answers: Real-time Audience Polling Explores Gray Areas of Affirmative Action Planning

COLUMBIA, MD—On July 26, 2011, Beth Ronnenburg, SPHR, President of Berkshire Associates, a human resource consulting and technology firm that assists companies in building their ideal, balanced workforce, will help attendees shed some light on those “gray” areas of affirmative action planning in her Industry Liaison Group National Conference presentation: “Real Questions, Real Answers—Real-time Audience Polling Explores Gray Areas of Affirmative Action Planning.”

There are a number of areas within the industry where regulations and requirements vary in interpretation and implementation—leaving many HR professionals stumped. Beth will analyze these types of compliance questions, using real-time data captured from handheld audience response units.

The following are two types of questions that will be analyzed and answered during this presentation:
• How do you cover employees in an AAP who work in the field or at locations with less than fifty employees?
• Do you include internal applicants in your applicant flow adverse impact analyses?
