Chief Executive Magazine and Chally Group Worldwide Launch 2011 Leadership Research featuring Best Companies for Leaders

Dayton, OH, Sept. 13, 2011 — Chally Group Worldwide, in partnership with Chief Executive magazine, announces the launch of the 2011 Global Leadership Research project featuring “Best Companies for Leaders.” This premier research study illustrates the leading effort toward identifying and recognizing excellence in leadership development.

The research is conducted by eliciting key data on a range of business issues relating to leadership development from top business leaders and HR executives around the world. The study also intends to assist organizations in keeping abreast of the current best practices and key trends for leadership development on a global basis.

Chally welcomes chief executive officers and human resource executives to participate by visiting http://www.bestcompaniesforleaders.org/hrmkt. Chally is particularly interested in tracking:

• Types of formal leadership development programs
• CEO involvement in leadership development programs
• Internal and external leadership recruiting practices
• Other specific companies participants would consider as developing excellent leaders
• The processes and metrics participants use in association with leadership development or succession planning

Leading companies will be featured in the January/February 2012 issue of Chief Executive magazine. Additionally, companies will benefit from benchmarking their performance based on the report; identify best practices tips and tactics; use report findings in recruitment and retention efforts; boost employee morale; and stand out above competitors in leadership talent.

In 2010 over 1,000 CEO’s and senior HR executives participated and for the first time Chally was able to measure:
• The long-term financial impact of effective leadership development
• The most serious “risk factors” for high-potential employees
• The specialized but critical competencies for various leadership roles
• The most likely sources for CEO positions

“Participation from top business executives is key to the success of this project,” said Howard Stevens, chief executive officer, Chally. “Without the valuable input and insight into various companies’ leadership pipelines, we would not be able to bring best leadership practices to the forefront and share them globally.”

The research methodology has been developed and refined by a team of experts in applied research and incorporates feedback from past winners to ensure emerging trends in how companies must design and execute leadership development practices that account for the complexities of the global business environment.

All survey participants will receive a complimentary copy of the 2010 Global Leadership Research Project report, a complimentary copy of the 2011 study report executive overview and preferred pricing on the in-depth 2011 research report containing leadership development and succession planning best practice techniques and detailed benchmarking metrics.
