Chief Executive Magazine and Chally Group Worldwide Invite Top Executives to Participate in Study to Identify Key Trends in Global Leadership Development

Dayton, OH, Sept. 27, 2011 — For the second consecutive year Chally Group Worldwide and Chief Executive magazine have partnered to lead the premier 2011 Global Leadership Research project featuring “Best Companies for Leaders.” This research study exemplifies the principal effort toward identifying and recognizing excellence in leadership development that will help drive business results.

This compelling study is conducted by extracting key data from top business leaders and HR executives around the world on a range of business issues relating to leadership development. The research also intends to assist organizations to keep abreast of best practices and key trends for leadership development on a global basis.

Through the survey, Chally will monitor and track:

* Types of formal leadership development programs
* CEO involvement in leadership development programs
* Internal and external leadership recruiting practices
* Other specific companies participants would consider as developing excellent leaders
* The processes and metrics participants use in association with leadership development or succession planning

Chally encourages business and human resource executives to participate in the survey by visiting http://www.bestcompaniesforleaders.org/hrmkt before October 14, 2011.

“We expect this survey to reveal the most compelling trends in leadership development,” said Howard Stevens, chief executive officer, Chally. “It is critical to seek the influential opinions of global business leaders today in order to create a benchmark and allow leadership best practices to be shared globally.”

Companies demonstrating outstanding excellence in a variety of leadership development areas will be featured in the January/February 2012 issue of Chief Executive magazine. Additionally, participating companies will also have an opportunity to benchmark their company’s performance based on the report and the competition; identify best practices tips and tactics; use report findings in recruitment and retention efforts; and boost employee morale.

In 2010 more than 1,000 CEO’s and senior HR executives participated and for the first time Chally was able to measure:

* The long-term financial impact of effective leadership development
* The most serious “risk factors” for high-potential employees
* The specialized but critical competencies for various leadership roles
* The most likely sources for CEO positions

The research methodology has been developed and refined by a team of experts in applied research and will incorporate feedback from former winners to further outline emerging trends in how companies must design and execute leadership development practices in today’s global business environment.

All survey participants will receive a complimentary copy of the 2010 Global Leadership Research project report, a complimentary copy of the 2011 study report executive overview and preferred pricing on the in-depth 2011 research report containing leadership development and succession planning best practice techniques and detailed benchmarking metrics.
