EEOC New Guidance on conducting an Employee Criminal Background Check: AccuScreen CEO Hosts Webinar on April 27th

TAMPA FL / April 26, 2012 — The U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission (EEOC) yesterday issued a 52 page document for the purpose of updating the Enforcement Guidance on employer use of arrest and conviction records in employment decisions under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Commission voted 4-1 to approve the guidance document. Commissioner Constance Smith Barker voted NO.
