CHICAGO, October 8, 2012 — Video interviewing platform Wowzer announced major enhancements to its award-winning platform today at the HR Technology Conference in response to customer feedback and interest in a wide variety use cases for video interviewing. For an increasingly mobile workforce, two new mobile recruiting apps extend Wowzer’s intuitive web experience to Apple iOS devices: Wowzer Candidate for jobseekers and Wowzer Hiring for interviewers.

Two types of video interviews (time-shifted & live)
Hiring teams can now invite candidates to take time-shifted video interviews at their convenience, or participate in a live video interview. “We see the greatest benefit to recruiters in the use of time-shifted video interviews,” said Wowzer chief executive officer Rodrigo Martinez, “however we believe that live video interviews will bridge our users’ current comfort with video chat services and encourage more people to get to know each other through our complete suite of solutions.”

Employer-branded mobile interviewing apps enable faster hiring cycles
When invited to take a video interview powered by Wowzer, candidates can respond either on a computer with a webcam or by installing the Wowzer Candidate app on any iOS device with a front-facing camera. No matter how or when candidates choose to take their interview, companies will be able to share their culture and values through a completely branded experience.

Recruiters and hiring managers for Wowzer customers can use the Wowzer Hiring app or the Wowzer website experience to review candidate responses, recommend candidates for hire, and rate candidates based on custom evaluation criteria. Unlimited interviews across both the website and iOS devices are included in one flat monthly fee per user.

New integrations for recruiters
Wowzer is also now integrated with Oracle Taleo and is the first video recruitment platform to build a module that integrates with Salesforce.com. These integrations enable recruiters to view all interactions with candidates, including Wowzer video interviews, within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
