Best Practice Institute and Edison Awards Come Together to Honor the World's Most Innovative and Impactful Products and Services

Named after inventor Thomas Alva Edison, the Edison Awards were established to globally recognize, honor and foster innovation, and encourage innovators to make a positive impact on the world. Large companies, small businesses, inventors, researchers, and other individuals are eligible to submit nominations of new products and services. The submission deadline is December 7, 2012.

To qualify as a nominee, the product or service must have been launched and available to end users between July 1, 2011 and February 28, 2013. Nominees will be evaluated according to four primary criteria: concept, value, delivery and impact. Awards will be given in 15 categories, from Applied Technology to Energy and Sustainability.
