HR Open Standards Presents Real-World HR Tech Implementation Session at HR Tech 2014

DENVER/ Oct 3, 2014 –The HR Open Standards Consortium, the only global network of HR technology professionals committed to open standards of interoperability, will present “Real-World HR Tech Implementations and What You Need to Know” at the 2014 HR Technology Conference in Las Vegas. The session will feature a stellar lineup of the industry’s most accomplished implementers sharing their secrets of success and tricks of the trade.

This real-world know-how session will be held October 9 from 4-5 p.m. in the Mandalay Bay Resort & Hotel, Ballrooms A&B. The panel will include Val Tsvetkov, VP of Implementation Services at IQ Navigator; Ray Schreyer, Global Recruitment Technology & Enablement Manager at IBM; Mike Seidle, Founder at Snap Applicant Tracking; and Ingolf Teetz, CTO at Milch & Zucker. The session will be moderated by Bon Idziak, CEO at Applicant Insight, Inc. and President of the Board of Directors at HR Open Standards Consortium.

Session overview: When it comes to getting the most business value from technology investments, developing business outcomes-based HRM and HR technology strategy and then selecting next generation foundations properly are only half (or maybe even less) of the battle. Most experienced HR technologists say that the real work starts after the subscription contract is signed. The industry’s most accomplished implementers will share their hands on implementation experiences — from debunking vendor-speak, to understanding the challenges and potential pitfalls when attempting to integrate disparate systems, to building an optimal project organization and delivering constant communication and change management — to help attendees be better equipped to get the most value out of their HR technology investments.

“Previously, custom integrations were the most time-consuming part of an implementation for IQNavigator,” said panelist Val Tsvetkov of IQ Navigator. “By adopting the HR Open Standards, we have significantly decreased custom integration deployments and subsequently have freed up high-demand resources allowing them to deliver valuable services in other areas.”

HR Open Standards is also offering a 20% discount for one year of membership with the Consortium for new organizational members now through October 31, 2014.
