Back by Popular Demand, theHRshow 2010to be Held Virtually, March 24-26

December 4, 2009 – –  HRchitect, the leader in HR systems strategic consulting and the premier Human Capital Management (HCM) and Talent Management systems consulting firm, announced today that theHRshow will continue as a virtual event in 2010.

Virtual HR conferences, such as theHRshow 2010, will continue to be an economical and effective way for HR practitioners to gain knowledge from industry thought leaders while budgets are still tight. The virtual format also affords speakers an opportunity to share their expertise without leaving the comfort of their office.

“The overwhelmingly positive response after the 2009 virtual event, combined with the fact that conference attendance still continues to be down across the board, make it a logical choice to continue theHRshow virtually,” stated Matt Lafata, Chairman of theHRshow.

The 2009 event had almost 1000 registrants who attended 30 different sessions and panels.

“We polled last year’s attendees and the majority responded that they would like to see the event continued in the same format as 2009,” continued the Director of Conference Marketing, Tiffany Appleby. “HR professionals continue to be faced with extremely tight budgets and need a more economical way to gain education, now more than ever. theHRshow will continue to meet that need in 2010.”

The call for presentations for the virtual event has been extended until December 18. Senior-level HR practitioners, industry experts and HR technology vendors are being invited to submit presentation and case study proposals for consideration on any topic that will assist today’s HR and HRIS professionals to help their organizations be more successful through the use of HR technology.

theHRshow 2010 will touch on many different areas of HR technology. Those who are chosen to give presentations or participate on panels will be provided with an opportunity to share their knowledge, experience and viewpoints with HR professionals. Panel discussions will be held on March 24, sessions will be held on March 25 & 26.

Recommended topics include: best practices/case studies on evaluating/implementing/integrating HR technology systems (Applicant Tracking, Talent Management, Onboarding, Learning, Performance, HRIS, Workforce Management, Workforce Planning, Compensation, Background Screening), social networking, vendor presentations with clients/practitioners.

Non-recommended topics include: employment law, professional/self development, general topics or those that do not relate to HR technology.
