HR Open Standards Consortium has announced its 2016 board of directors.

Newly appointed is John Lawrence of GIS. Re-elected members include: Andrew Cunsolo, Talemetry; Suneel Mendiratta, ADP; Tony Ray, IQNavigator; Romuald Restout; and Eric Shepherd, Questionmark. Continuing in two-year terms are: Andreas Elkeles, SAP Labs, LLC; Bon Idziak, Checkr; Bill Kerr, Oracle Corp; Jason Sole, DirectEmployers Association; and Ingolf Teetz, Milch & Zucker.

Consortium officers include: Suneel Mendiratta, President and Chairman of the Board; Ingolf Teetz, Treasurer; and Andrew Cunsolo, Secretary.

Biographies of the 2016 HR Open Standards Board of Directors:

President and Chairman – Suneel Mendiratta, Sr. Director of Application Development, ADP. Suneel has been affiliated with the Consortium since 2000, first with Employease and now with ADP. He participated in the Benefits Enrollment standards development project since its inception, helped build the first major milestone for the workgroup (ANSI 834 compatibility), and co-led the workgroup for three years. Suneel has been in the technology industry for 19 years, 16 in HR technology.

Treasurer – Ingolf Teetz, CEO, Milch & Zucker. Ingolf is founder and Chief Executive Officer for Milch & Zucker, a provider of e-recruitment and recruitment marketing solutions. He manages company operations, initiates and strengthens technology partnerships, and is responsible for the development of its software, BeeSite. Ingolf’s long relationship with the Consortium includes serving on the board and representing the Consortium at international events.

Secretary – Andrew Cunsolo, VP of Product Development, Talemetry. With more than 15 years of product and technical leadership in recruiting technology, Andrew is currently responsible for developing Talemetry’s recruiting marketing (Job Broadcast), sourcing (Source & CRM), and candidate experience (Career Sites, Apply) products. Andrew has been involved in the Consortium since 2002 and is a regular speaker, presenter, and contributor.

Andreas Elkeles, Sr. Director of Product Management, SAP Labs, LLC. Andreas has 26 years of experience in developing human capital management solutions. During his years with SAP, he has served in various architect and management positions. He has been responsible for the development of SAP’s U.S. payroll product from day one to its maturity; currently, he drives the cloud payroll strategy for SuccessFactors/SAP.

Bon Idziak, Head of Government Relations and Compliance, Checkr. Bon is an 18-year industry leader in Background Screening, Drug Testing, and HR Technology. Bon has served on the HR Open Standards Board of Directors since 2009 and has held offices of secretary, treasurer, and president/chairman. A pioneer, contributor, and early implementer of HR Open standards, Bon is a proven advocate of the Consortium.

Bill Kerr, Applications Architect, Oracle Corp. Bill is an Applications Architect at Oracle within the Fusion HCM Development team, delivering next-generation solutions for human capital management. With 26 years of software industry experience, Bill has held a board seat in the Consortium since 2000 and has been instrumental in shaping the group’s early standards.

John Lawrence, VP of Marketing and Business Development, General Information Services, Inc. The newest member of the HR Open Standards Consortium board, John brings 17 years of marketing experience to his current role where he leads the business development group and in-house marketing for GIS. John has served on the Consortium’s Business Steering Committee for 2 years providing valuable marketing insights and business guidance to the Consortium.

Tony Ray, Senior Solutions Architect, IQNavigator. Tony is responsible for providing comprehensive integration solutions, both batch and web services, for IQNavigator, a leading workforce solutions provider. With more than 36 years across all disciplines in the technology industry, Tony leads the IQNavigator API team to define standard web service APIs. Tony is a long-standing member of the Consortium’s Technical Steering Committee and has presented at HR Open Standards meetings, promoting the value of standards.

Romuald Restout. A past president and chairman of the Consortium, Romuald brings more than 20 years of international expertise in defining strategies for HR technologies, systems architecture, and product development.

Eric Shepherd, President and CEO, Questionmark. One of the world’s leading authorities on assessment technology, Eric is President and CEO of Questionmark, which produces groundbreaking technologies for authoring, delivering, and reporting on tests, exams, and surveys. He has championed the use of computerized assessments for encouraging and improving the learning process.

Jason Sole, Director of Production, DirectEmployers Association. Jason leads production at DirectEmployers Association, ensuring software is intuitive for members by streamlining the job-seeking process. He spearheaded the company’s transition to agile programming and continues to lead teams in the agile process. Jason has been in the tech industry for 14 years, and has contributed to the Consortium as the Technical Steering Committee Chair.
