Tammy Cohen Awarded MBE Magazine's "WBEs Who Rock!" Award

ATLANTA, GA – July 11, 2016 – Minority Business Entrepreneur (MBE) Magazine has honored Tammy Cohen, Founder and CEO of InfoMart, with a “WBEs Who Rock!” award.

The 3rd annual award recognizes women who excel both in business and in their communities. Ms. Cohen was one of only fifteen women honored during the publication’s event at the annual Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) National Conference and Business Fair Reception, held in Orlando, Florida.

“MBE had so many incredible nominees for this award, and I’m honored to have been selected as a winner,” says Ms. Cohen. “As one of the few woman-owned businesses in the background screening industry, I hope that my story and InfoMart’s accomplishments can inspire other woman- and diversity-owned businesses to continue striving, advancing, and succeeding in the future.”

This award comes at a time when Ms. Cohen and InfoMart are focusing their efforts on providing supplier diversity to corporations across the globe. Concurrent with InfoMart’s WBENC-Certification and growing diversity recognition from prestigious organizations such as MBE, the company is improving its services and offerings with a new corporate website, a redesign and update of its proprietary legacy software, WebASAP, and an intuitive Individualized Assessment feature that streamlines adjudication and improves compliance.

Ms. Cohen adds the distinguished “WBEs Who Rock!” award to a growing collection of state and national honors recognizing her business and leadership contributions. She recently received an Enterprising Woman of the Year Award from Enterprising Women Magazine and the Gold Eclipse Award for Outstanding Company Culture from the National Women Business Owners Corporation (NWBOC).

“MBE appreciates and recognizes our stories and successes, and provides a forum for us to encourage one another. Any minority entrepreneur with a dream can learn from our collective experiences, and it’s an honor to be able to share InfoMart’s story with so many amazing minority and women entrepreneurs.”
