(EBI) announced today that its award-winning background screening and drug testing platform, J-One, is now available on the SAP(R) App Center, the redesigned and consolidated digital marketplace for SAP partner offerings. J-One integrates with market-leading SAP(R) SuccessFactors(R) HCM solutions to simplify background screening and drug testing for employers. The integration eliminates middleware traditionally required when integrating solutions.
Don Darrah, EBI’s VP of Alliances and Partnerships, explained, “Utilizing EBI’s leading-edge technology solutions, we were able to quickly integrate directly into the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting solution. Because we’ve eliminated the middleware and simplified how data is transferred, we expect that customers will find that the software is faster, easier to use and less expensive to update. This helps reduce technical limitations, frequent errors and increased costs that have previously impeded other background screening integrations with the SAP SuccessFactors solution.”
He continued, “We built in exchanges for real-time ETA’s on all background screening services. A one-step ordering process with optional workflows enables users to choose a screening package either at the time of requisition or at the time of hire. This helps save time and money by eliminating the need for package change updates within the SAP SuccessFactors solution.”
The platform is highly secure, including applicant portal authentication to retain security and integrity for applicant data. EBI’s Delta Tracker is a technology that will identify and compare any changes to the information provided by the applicant on the SAP SuccessFactors application to that provided for background checking. It then reports the difference to customers, who can make more informed hiring decisions. Other features and enhancements built in to the EBI integration with SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting are also designed to work synergistically to increase productivity and reduce complexity.
