Asking Candidates About Salary History

October 24, 2017 No comments | Back To Home

Salary talk has evolved a lot over the years and will continue to do so as we work toward fairness and equality in pay. The current climate surrounding a candidate’s salary history and the desire to ban employers from asking about salary history is an attempt to mitigate the wage gap that’s existed for decades between men, women, and minorities.

We created a couple infographics on the topics of pay inequality between men and women and how to navigate the salary conversation with job candidates and were curious if you’d like to share them. They are both timely pieces that reflect our current economic challenges with pay equality as well as the recently amended California law banning employers from inquiring about pay history when interviewing candidates.

Please let me know if you’d like a copy of one of both! Happy to share.
