HRO Today Forum APAC Features Agenda Focused on Driving Corporate Strategy

Philadelphia, PA – November 9, 2018 – The 2018 HRO Today Forum APAC will take place in Hong Kong, China on November 12 and 13. Delegates will attend interactive best practice discussions, expert-led educational sessions, and networking activities designed to help them exchange ideas and discuss solutions to workplace challenges.

The theme of this year’s event is “HR: Driving Corporate Strategy”. More than ever before, today’s workforce is changing at a lightning fast pace, and HR is responsible for effectively attracting, motivating, engaging, and retaining top talent. The HRO Today Forum APAC will present attendees with new research and invite them to explore new perspectives that will help them make impacts in their organizations.

Highlights from the agenda include:

- The HRO Today Awards Luncheon will honor the finalists and announce the recipients of the 2018 Chief Human Resource Officer of the Year Awards and the Talent Acquisition Leader of the Year Awards. The Awards Luncheon is sponsored by Cielo.

- The HRO Today Services and Technology Association will recognize the finalists and winners of its annual Awards at a special celebratory cocktail reception.

- “Eye on APAC: Future Trends in HR – A Town Hall CHRO Panel” will discuss the top talent strategies in the APAC region relating to employer branding, culture and employee engagement. Panelists include: Antonio Climent, Laureate International Universities; Paul Hotchan, Galaxy Entertainment Group; and Prasanth Narayanan, Carnival Group.

- A series of Best Practice Discussions will be presented on the following topics by industry leaders:

o “Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation in Talent Acquisition” by Michael Uhlmann and Amie Wiseman of Alexander Mann Solutions
o “The Role of the Recruiter is in Question–But How Much of an Impact Will Tech Really Have?” by Pip Eastman, Tamara Sigerhall and Merissa Yeow of Korn Ferry
o “What are the World’s Best Practices in Attracting, Hiring, and Retaining Talent?” by Alfonso Nunez of Allegis Global Solutions
o “Total Talent Management and the Rise of the Contingent Workforce” by Mehul Rajparia of Lumesse APAC
