HR.com's Institute for Human Resources (IHR) Contract Workforce and Talent Exchange Program and Online Certification Program celebrates success of its first year

HR.com’s Institute for Human Resources (IHR) is overwhelmed with parental pride to have one of its first born children, the Contract Workforce and Talent Exchange online HR certification program, celebrate its first birthday.  Since its first baby steps with virtual courses starting in December 2010, the Institute has had over 92,000 total registrations across all programs in more than 900 webcasts.  The Contract Workforce division of IHR has presented four virtual conferences each consisting of two days and sixteen webcasts to its member HR community of over 194,000 members.  Nowhere else in “real life” would you see this spectrum of Contract Workforce specialized executives as virtual faculty come together to network and offer practical experience as well as hundreds of hours of training.

The next Contract Workforce and Talent Exchange virtual event is coming up this month, January 30-31, 2012.  Registration is open now and sessions for this event are being finalized. Check the Event Info for more details.  For any HR professionals interested in sharing a recent project or topic in contract workforce, for this event or a future one, Submit your Idea now.

“The contract workforce is becoming central to the economic recovery, and a key component of business strategy for many firms. It has been less than a year since this Institute was launched.  In that short time, the Institute has produced four extremely informative two-day events, equipping HR professionals with considerable expertise in contract workforce management. The Institute’s online certification program specific to the contract workforce domain is a one-of-a-kind offering in the HR executive arena”
James P. Ware, Executive Director of the Future of Work..unlimited, and Chair of the Institute’s Advisory Board.

An independent advisory board made up of superhero executives in their track of HR oversees the IHR accreditation process.  Their super power knowledge and experience and ability to fly in the contingent workforce domain ensure the certification program students will receive an invaluable executive education by helping to identify industry experts to join the HR.com faculty as well as guiding the strategy, direction and virtual events offered by the Contract Workforce and Talent Exchange.  The Advisory Board for the Contract Workforce and Talent Exchange Program is currently comprised of the following superheroes:
