HR Marketing Institute launched to meet essential professional development needs of HR marketers

According to preliminary findings from a Human Resource Marketing Institute survey of over 100 HR marketers, marketing efforts in Human Resources (HR) are not as effective as they could be. The results show that 50% of HR marketers report a moderate to low degree of success.

“The HR Marketing Institute will set the bar for success for our industry,” says Debbie McGrath, Chief Instigator and CEO of HR.com. “We’ve been working with HR marketers for the last 19 years. In our experience, they are truly doing the best they can, but they often lack the key information, research, resources and learning community to support operational excellence.”

McGrath founded the HR Marketing Institute to inspire and educate HR marketers, so they can do their jobs as effectively as possible. The membership-based HR Marketing Institute model offers:
· Face-to-face peer group meetings to network and share HR marketing strategies
· Industry research and best practices in HR marketing
· Benchmark data to establish base metrics for measuring marketing effectiveness
· HR marketing case studies and tools

The HR Marketing Institute community will officially be launched at the pre-HR Tech Marketing Matters Event in Las Vegas on 9/10 and 9/11. At the event, membership-based networks will be formed within marketing specialties and interest areas, including a specialty network for CMO’s or VP’s of Marketing.
