Shannon Scott is Confirmed as a Keynote Speaker for Leadership Excellence and Development Forum (LEAD2018) in Salt Lake City

HR.com has announced that Shannon Scott, LBGTQ Activist, President of United Equality Consulting and co-leader of all Human Rights Campaign activities in Oregon and S.W. Washington for the National Board of Governors, will join the roster of speakers at LEAD2018 in Salt Lake City on February 7th.

Shannon is a transgender female who grew up on a ranch in Montana. She served in the U.S. military for 12 years with deployments in Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and South Korea. Now, she is an LBGTQ activist, a small business owner, and she currently serves on the National Board of Governors for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). As president of United Equality Consulting, a Portland-based business, she is committed to bringing LGBTQ workplace equality across the nation.

“Shannon will be sharing how she overcame her struggles, pains and suicidal thoughts on her journey to lead an authentic life.
