Strategies for Integrating Returning Veterans into the Workplace

Downers Grove, IL—On December 2, 2011, Nicole Yeldell, SPHR, Manager of Training at Berkshire Associates, a human resource consulting and technology firm that assists companies in building their ideal, balanced workforce, will help attendees understand how to integrate Veterans into their organizations in her Chicago ILG presentation: “Strategies for Integrating Returning Veterans into the Workplace.”

With so many Veterans returning from active duty, there is an untapped pool of talent waiting to be harnessed by your company. Not only that, the government is expecting employers to hire and retain more Veterans than ever before. In this session, attendees will learn strategies and solutions for tapping into that talent while remaining compliant by integrating and recruiting Veterans into their workforces.

Nicole will educate attendees on Veteran best practices, helping them:
– Better understand the challenges of recruiting and integrating Veterans from both an employer and Veteran employee perspective, and how to integrate solutions to make the processes easier
– Utilize best practices of industry leaders in the areas of Veteran recruitment and retention
– Devise innovative solutions and strategies for implementing their own plan
