AIRS Launches Professional Recruiter Certificatio: Adds Fifth Professional Designation to Suite of Offerings

— Lebanon, NH— AIRS, the leader in recruitment training, announced today the launch of its Professional Recruiter Certification aimed at giving recruiters at any level the power boost they need to beat out the competition. The full-day workshop begins April, 20, 2010.

AIRS Professional Recruiter Certification can be obtained following the completion of the full day class and accompanying certification exam.  Designed for all levels of recruiters, the course breaks down the lifecycle, best practices and outcomes for every stage of the recruiting process.

For those with less than a year in the recruiting function, the class offers the chance to build a solid foundation of knowledge and skills. For more experienced recruiters, the class provides an opportunity for those who want to hone their skills and learn new best practices and resources to aid in their professional development. Course topics include, tried and true methods of name generation, cold calling and networking, effective ways to communicate with candidates, clients and hiring managers, making the most of available technology, time management skills and more. Class attendees are also eligible to earn 6.5 course credits towards their PHR®/SPHR®/GPHR® re-certifications.

A recent study by The Aberdeen Group entitled The Economic Outlook for 2010: High Growth? Low Growth? No Growth? found that high growth companies in 2009 projected an 11.4% increase in 2010 headcount. In addition, HR Marketer’s recent report Trends in HR Marketing: HR Buyer’s Behavior—What to expect in 2010 found that 31% of HR professionals report their company will hire 10-20 percent more staff in 2010.
