Vangent Awarded $95 Million Subcontract to Support the Enterprise Classroom Programs Technology Modernization Effort for the U.S. Army

Technology Upgrade will Advance U.S. Army’s Mission to Provide Anytime, Anywhere Training

ARLINGTON, VA, February 2, 2011 – Vangent, Inc., a leading global provider of information management, strategic business process solutions and human capital management services today announced it was awarded a $95 million subcontract from Pragmatics, Inc. to support the United States Army Classroom XXI Enterprise Classroom Program.

Vangent will lead the design, installation and integration of a sophisticated learning technology infrastructure that supports standardization, interoperability, scalability, and sustainability of classrooms across U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Schools and Centers. These services will be provided for more than 1,400 classrooms across every TRADOC base and the associated proponent and joint schoolhouses. Vangent will perform the work for the United States Army Combined Arms Center, Army Training Support Center, Enterprise Classroom Programs & Battle Command Art and Sciences Program (BCASP) residing at Fort Eustis, VA.

The Enterprise Classroom Programs supports fielding these technologies to the Army Classroom XXI (CRXXI) Program, Institutional Training Technology Program (ITTP), Army Battle Command Art and Sciences Program (BCASP), Star Bases, Basic Combat Training (BCT)/One Station Unit Training/Initial Military Training (OSUT)/Initial Military Training and Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC).
