Minneapolis, MN — June 14, 2011 — Arbita, a leader in recruitment marketing and sourcing solutions, is pleased to announce it will offer its unique perspective as an industry leader during a two-day educational and professional talent acquisition forum at Rutgers University presented by Rutgers, the Thought Leadership Institute, The John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development and Staffing.org.

Don Ramer, Arbita founder and CEO, and Shally Steckerl, Arbita executive vice president, will present “Evaluating Recruiting and Sourcing Effectiveness” during the first afternoon of “The Future of Hiring Competitiveness.” Part of TLI’s Corporate Sourcing Leadership Exchange (CSLE) program, the event takes place June 23-24 at the Heldrich Center on the Rutgers campus in New Brunswick, N.J.

TLI is a development organization that creates “exchanges” in which recruiting leaders come together to discuss the challenges, concerns and issues facing the recruiting industry.

Denny Clark, TLI co-founder, also announced today that Ramer will be joining the organization’s faculty. Steckerl has been a TLI faculty member since TLI was founded.

“Having Don and Shally as faculty members greatly broadens our spectrum of learning opportunities and thought leadership for recruitment leaders,” Clark said. “It definitely represents a true front-line perspective for our members from leaders in the field.”

“We’re grateful for the opportunity to bring our tested ability and experience to help organizations connect with the best talent,” Ramer said. “Like TLI, we believe thought leadership is the engine that will result in recruiting and sourcing achieving meaningful and successful strategic partnerships with senior management.”

At CSLE events, members obtain specific tools and advice to implement recruitment best practices. Each exchange focuses on a specific area of interest in the recruiting field, such as international sourcing, diversity, culture and workforce planning. The upcoming CSLE event will be a “benchmarking of what it takes to be best in class as a staffing function and delve into the techniques necessary to attract and hire talent that will make the world’s largest enterprises also the most competitive,” Clark said

“Truly effective sourcing uses ingenuity and innovation to enhance the recruiting process by leveraging information and expertise,” Ramer said. “In this CSLE event, Shally and I will present a high-level blueprint from a diagnostic process that helps identify opportunities for any organization to wield this sort of leverage through expert benchmarking against best practices,” Ramer said.

At the TLI event, Ramer and Steckerl will demonstrate how a Recruitment SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) Analysis can be used to discover the gaps in any organization’s sourcing and recruiting practices. With that information, they will arrive at a prioritized short list of opportunities for significant improvements in sourcing and recruitment.

Other topics and speakers will include:

• “Diversity and Competitiveness: A Strategic 2011 Vision,” Robert Lattimer, Senior Fellow, Heldrich Center.
• “Re-Defining Recruitment Processes and Technology to Deliver Quality of Hire,” Ryan Cook, director of global talent operations will lead the discussion for CH2M Hill.
• “Closing the Door to Talent,” Dr. Raghav Singh, partner at The A-List, a Minneapolis-based staffing services provider.
