West Des Moines, Iowa (February 9, 2015) – New to the executive roster at Businessolver is the addition of Todd Seiffer, CFO, and Danette Kennedy, vice president, legal. The announcement was made by Businessolver President and CEO Jon Shanahan.

Todd Seiffer brings over 15 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, and treasury operations to Businessolver. He will report to Shanahan and the Businessolver Board of Directors providing strategic direction of the company’s financial-related activities as it continues to grow. “The benefits administration technology industry is growing exponentially and I look forward to partnering with the Businessolver team to help strengthen its leadership position,” said Seiffer.

Seiffer was most recently senior vice president of finance and treasurer at Allscripts where he oversaw the financial planning and analysis and treasury operations during which the company grew revenue from $300 million to $1.4 billion. Before Allscripts, Seiffer was a vice president at Bear Stearns and also previously worked at Banc of America Securities and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

With more than 20 years of legal experience, Danette Kennedy will advise the executive team on legal matters pertaining to general liability matters and contract negotiations, including industry legislative trends, and compliance and regulatory issues. As vice president of the legal and compliance department, Kennedy will also report to Shanahan while providing guidance regarding internal insurance licensing and education programs for employees. “Businessolver has over 500 employees and, as a leader in the benefits administration technology arena, providing these employees with knowledge and tools related to our industry is integral to our culture of client delight,” Kennedy stated.

Prior to her role at Businessolver, Kennedy was Vice President of Legal with Global Atlantic Financial Group. She also serves as vice president and product attorney for Aviva USA where she provided strategic input for development of business programs development and advised operations on legal matters and insurance issues relating to product development. Additionally Kennedy was general counsel for Brokers International, Ltd.
