Houston, TX, September 13, 2017 – This week, Birkman announced the launch of an all-new interactive toolkit, Birkman Map: Usual Behavior & Needs. This product is the first in the Birkman at Work toolkit series developed to empower organizations to cultivate stronger teams. Birkman at Work is a completely new offering for Birkman that provides resources to host dynamic team building workshops quickly and easily.

The Birkman Map: Usual Behavior & Needs toolkit translates the powerful personality data from the widely respected Birkman Method assessment into a simplified, interactive workshop. Developed by expert facilitators, the toolkit can be used by anyone who wants to lead a team building workshop, but doesn’t have the time or resources to build one themselves. Those who participate in the workshop will have the opportunity to discover their Usual Behavior and Needs, which reflect defining personality traits that affect workplace collaboration and overall performance.

Amy Shepley, Vice President of Products & Innovation, has been at the forefront of developing the workshop toolkits. She says, “This toolkit is a culmination of extensive hard work and is based on feedback from our users on what they need most. We are so excited to extend it to our active community, and we can’t wait to hear their feedback. Part of what makes this product unique is that it can be utilized by anyone. Whether you are an experienced Birkman consultant or entirely new to Birkman concepts, you will have everything you need to facilitate an engaging and memorable team building experience. And the best part is–we’ve done all the prep and planning for you so you spend your time more efficiently and effectively!”

Birkman Map: Usual Behavior & Needs does not require Birkman Certification, so HR can empower managers to use it directly with their teams and role out Birkman more broadly with less effort. The workshop offers opportunities for participants to engage in interactive team activities and personal reflection to promote greater self-awareness and a better understanding of those on their team.

Sharon Birkman, President & CEO, describes her excitement for the toolkit by saying, “We are thrilled to offer a product that takes the leg-work out of developing team building workshops, letting HR professionals focus on what matters most–their people.”
