Artificial Intelligence in HR Is Set to Disrupt Talent Management – According to New Study by HR.com

Very few human resources (HR) professionals (11%) say their organizations use artificial intelligence (AI) to a high or very high degree.  Fast change is on the horizon for HR, however, as a third (33%) anticipate high or very high use of AI in two years.

Results from the research study, The State of Artificial Intelligence, Disruption and Innovation, are now available for free download.  HR.com’s Research Institute conducted the study to examine the state of artificial intelligence in HR and provide insights to prepare for the wave of inevitable AI-based change.

Looking ahead to the near future, HR professionals say the key area they expect to see the greatest potential to improve the HR function is in analytics and metrics (78%).  This is followed by talent acquisition and learning and development.

The survey also points to the abilities to analyze (57%) and to predict (51%) as the top features HR professionals would like to see in AI-powered applications.

“Clearly, HR envisions the contribution of AI to rise steadily, specifically in a way to further the ability to better understand large amounts of data and synthesize it into meaningful insights for managing their workforce,” stated Debbie McGrath, Chief Instigator and CEO of HR.com.
