ERC Dataplus Releases Version 6.6 of Selectech® Hiring Management System

Upgrades will improve ease of use for HR administrators and job applicants

Norwalk, CT. — (December 16, 2009) — ERC Dataplus, Inc., a leading provider of hiring management solutions, announced today that it has released Version 6.6 of its Selectech® Hiring Management System. This latest version includes some 18 improved or new functions that will impact the experience of Human Resources administrators, hiring managers and job applicants.

Among the highlights of this latest version of Selectech:

• Administrators and hiring managers will find in Version 6.6 upgrades to the job requisition and position description functions (including position “cloning”), more options for candidate appointment scheduling, and an easier-to-parse display of report data on Job Board activity.

• Whether writing job descriptions or offer letters, administrators and hiring managers will benefit from improvements to the text editor tool.

• Applicants working through the Selectech 6.6 interface will now have greater flexibility in managing resumes, including the ability to create and save an “optional resume.”

• Internal applicants will now have an easier experience scrolling through the internal postings page and following the internal process.

Other new or enhanced features will impact users’ experience in the areas of communications, auto outreach and Web resources. With the upgrade (and depending upon the capabilities of their background screening vendor), Selectech 6.6 will now confirm if an applicant is less than 16 years old; users may also view the background screenings associated with a specific requisition.

In coming weeks, further refinements to Selectech will be made available to users, including: New reporting menus for sorting applicants by process step; the option for group-level reporting on open requisitions per location; and better filtering and content management within the position library.
