Buck Consultants, A Xerox Company, Selects Mike Roberts as Executive Managing Director

NEW YORK: July 13, 2010 – Mike Roberts has been named executive managing director of Buck Consultants, A Xerox Company, and will take the consultancy’s top leadership position effective immediately.

For the past three years, Roberts has been managing director of Buck’s second largest global practice in United Kingdom. He joined Buck in 2000 as principal and senior consulting actuary. Roberts will report to Ann Vezina, executive vice president and group president of ACS Human Resource Services.

“Mike’s success in growing the UK business and his experience in the employee benefits area make him the ideal leader for expanding Buck’s global footprint,” said Vezina. “He has been a champion of innovation and will play a key role in expanding Buck’s and ACS’ human resource services business.”

She said his extensive experience assisting C-suite executives manage their human resource and benefit-related issues in companies spanning multiple jurisdictions around the world will be a key attribute in his new role leading Buck Consultants.

Roberts is a qualified actuary and has been a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries since 1994. He will be relocating to New York City and will be based in the consultancy’s head office.
