Newsworthy.ai Redefines What it Means to Be an Influencer

Hey Influencer

New Braunfels, Texas, Mar 1, 2022 @ 6:00 AM Central — Newsworthy.ai, the recently launched press release newswire from PRWeb’s founder, is redefining what it means to be an online influencer. The service is the first in the industry to incorporate an influencer marketplace as part of its core offering. The marketplace allows anyone with online influence to register to become an influencer. While established influencers are invited to register with the platform, registration is open to anyone with a following of any size.

With its focus on new and micro-influencers, the marketplace seeks to democratize influence. “The reality is that everyone has influence and a network that is of value to someone else,” said David McInnis, Newsworthy.ai’s founder. Often, especially when you are selling ideas or a vision, it is more important to get in front of the right ten people. We are hoping to build out these powerful centers of influence on our platform. In addition, the platform provides a mechanism for users to trade influence.

The traditional press release newswire model relies heavily on the distribution of client press releases to journalists and media outlets. While the new service meets those basic requirements, its influencer marketplace distinguishes itself as the first newswire to recognize the power online influencers have in driving targeted visibility for press releases.

“A good newswire is a platform that allows you to tell your story, in your words, to your target audience,” says Mark Effinger, Co-founder of Nootopia.com“Newsworthy.ai provides all of the benefits of a traditional newswire coupled with an Influencer platform to get your message in front of the right people. As both an influencer and a customer, I believe that this human-centered, chasm-crossing platform has the potential to upend the newswire industry.”

The marketplace operates on a “buyers premium” model that shifts the cost of marketplace activities to the client rather than the influencer. Influencers do not pay to participate in the marketplace. Influencers have the freedom to set their own rates and to accept or reject engagement requests.

Every press release that is distributed through the platform is allocated a marketplace allowance. Clients use this allowance to “shop” for influencers from the marketplace. Influencers are compensated for their participation each time they complete a task. “We are building a marketplace that incentivizes our users to spend funds in the marketplace. Our goal is to create a vibrant marketplace,” commented Mark Willaman, Newsworthy.ai’s co-founder.
