ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Sept. 13, 2011 — Paradigm Learning, a leader in business games, simulations and Discovery Maps®, announced today that the Project Management Institute (PMI) has recertified Countdown®: A Strategy Game for Project Teams simulation as a Registered Education Provider (R.E.P).
Individuals who are certified Project Management Professionals (PMPs) or in the process of obtaining their PMP can accumulate eight (8) hours of Professional Development Units (PDUs) by participating in Paradigm’s Countdown simulation.
Countdown is a classroom based project management simulation that enhances the knowledge and skills of project teams. Developed in collaboration with project management experts, Countdown uses a variety of discovery learning techniques to engage and energize learners as they explore effective project management concepts, tools and behaviors.
“Countdown was designed to help corporations provide project team members with a thorough understanding of the essentials of project team success based on generally accepted project management tools and techniques found in the Project Management Body of Knowledge,” commented Robb J. Gomez, president of Paradigm Learning. “The fact that PMI has renewed our R.E.P status provides confirmation of the high quality of Countdown’s design, delivery and content.”
