BountyJobs Online Recruitment Marketplace Now Serves More than a Third of the Fortune 500

NEW YORK — May 5, 2010 — BountyJobs announced today that WellPoint, the nation’s second-largest health benefits company, is now managing its third-party recruiting relationships via BountyJobs’ global recruitment marketplace. With the addition of WellPoint, 179—or 35 percent—of 2010’s Fortune 500 companies have signed up with BountyJobs, where employers can find headhunters to fill any job, anywhere.

“We needed to better manage our third-party recruiting relationships and streamline our process, while also improving the quality of candidates we see through search firms and open up access to diversity recruiters as well,” said Shanil Kaderali, Senior Talent Strategy and Programs Manager for WellPoint. “Moving to BountyJobs will allow us to consolidate all of our search vendors to one contract and platform and will ensure we can review metrics on vendor performance. Since our recruiters now have access to the BountyJobs marketplace of specialized headhunters, our goal is to improve our candidate pipeline, including diverse candidates.”

Since BountyJobs’ founding in 2007, employers have posted hundreds of millions of dollars worth of jobs on the marketplace across six continents and currently have access to more than 10,000 specialized headhunters. Fortune 500 companies alone have used its unique online platform to search for active and passive candidates for more than $55 million of those jobs. BountyJobs’ clients include some of the nation’s most recognizable and successful employers, including Comcast, Costco, General Mills and Raytheon.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have achieved this milestone and for our marketplace to be growing and utilized by such successful leaders of the economy,” said BountyJobs’ Chief Executive Officer, Mike Hard. “I think the success these companies are having by using our platform is a testament to the effectiveness of online recruiting marketplaces in general and the power of the BountyJobs technology in particular. In addition to enabling employers to set their own fees, which is itself a precedent, BountyJobs gives them the ability of hiring a headhunter that has proven success metrics in their particular areas of need. This eliminates headhunters’ `resume slinging’ and reduces the time it takes to fill positions — especially hard-to-fill and niche positions. Ultimately, BountyJobs facilitates more effective partnerships between employers and headhunters and
lowers the costs of recruiting and hiring high-quality candidates.”
