Recognition Lessons from John Hope Bryant

Montreal and New York City, March 3rd, 2010 — Next Tuesday, March 9th, on Real Recognition Radio, RMI president Roy Saunderson and S. Max Brown, VP of Organizational Learning, will be interviewing Chairman John Hope Bryant, a philanthropic entrepreneur and businessman, in the business of empowerment. This includes Mr. Bryant’s non-profit work throughout the US, through Operation HOPE, his vast work in public policy, and his increasing portfolio in “thought leadership.”

John Hope Bryant has received more than 400 awards and citations for his work to empower low-wealth communities including the Use Your Life Award by Oprah Winfrey, and was named a “Community Hero” by People Magazine on the 10th anniversary of the worst urban civil unrest in U.S. history. In December, 1994, Mr. Bryant was selected by TIME Magazine for their “America’s 50 Most Promising Leaders of the Future” cover story.

He will be sharing some inspirational messages on the power of relationships and leadership in your day to day life, as well as in the workplace. He will be drawing on the lessons he’s learned through a lifetime of achievements, including the creation of an admirable and successful global initiative HOPE, America’s first non-profit social investment banking organization empowering the underprivileged. John is also the author of the book Love Leadership: The New Way to Lead in a Fear-Based World, from which he will be drawing insight applicable immediately for a more positive and successful workplace.
